The New York Studio Program is operated by, and for the benefit of, the member schools of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design. It is administered by AICAD in cooperation with Parsons the New School for Design.
Academics >>
Participating upper-level students remain enrolled in their home institutions and receive
16 credits for either the Independent Studio or Internship Options. Independent Studio participants have individual studios. Four faculty include two artists – a painter and a sculptor – and two art writer/critics.

The New York Studio Program is located in the heart of the vibrant contemporary art world in DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) in Brooklyn with stunning views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges and lower Manhattan. It is one subway stop from Manhattan adjoining Brooklyn Heights and along the East River.
